Its main features are: corrosion resistance to H2S, CO2, salt water, etc., low scale buildup, low wax formation, good flow performance, flow coefficient is 1.5 times that of the steel pipe, and at the same time, it has excellent mechanical strength, light weight, low installation cost, design service life of more than 30 years, and in some projects, and even the use of 50 years is still no problem. Its main applications are: crude oil, natural gas and fresh water transmission pipelines; sewage water injection, downhole oil pipeline and other high-pressure pipelines; petrochemical process pipelines; oilfield sewage and wastewater treatment transmission pipelines; hot springs pipe and so on.

(1) excellent corrosion resistance
Basalt fiber high-pressure pipeline structure is divided into lining layer, structural layer and outer protective layer of three parts. Among them, the lining layer has high resin content, generally more than 70%, and the resin content of its inner surface resin-rich layer is as high as about 95%. Compared with the steel pipe, has much superior corrosion resistance, such as a variety of strong acids and alkalis, a variety of inorganic salts, oxidizing media, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, a variety of surfactants, polymer solutions, a variety of organic solvents, etc., as long as the choice of a good resin matrix, high pressure pipeline of basalt fibers can be long term resistance (concentrated acid, strong alkali, and HF excluded)
(2) Good fatigue resistance and long service life
Basalt fiber high-pressure pipeline design service life is greater than 20 years, and in fact, often after more than 30 years of use is still intact, and in its service life is maintenance-free.
(3) High pressure-bearing capacity
The normal pressure level of basalt fiber high-pressure pipeline is 3.5MPa-25MPa (up to 35 MPa, according to the wall thickness and counting), compared with other non-metallic pipelines, the pressure-resistant capacity is higher.
(4) Light weight, easy installation and transportation
Basalt fiber high-pressure pipe specific gravity is about 1.6, only steel pipe or cast iron pipe 1/4 ~ 1/5, practical application shows that, under the same internal pressure, the same diameter, the same length of FRP pipe, its weight is about 28% of the steel pipe.
(5) high strength, reasonable mechanical properties
Basalt fiber high-pressure pipe axial tensile strength of 200 ~ 320MPa, close to the steel pipe, but more than the strength of about 4 times, in the structural design, pipe weight can be greatly reduced, installation is very easy.
(6) Other properties:
Not easy to scale and wax, low flow resistance, good electrical insulation properties, simple connection, high strength, low thermal conductivity, low thermal stress.
