What is PTFE fabric?

China Beihai produces PTFE-coated fiber-reinforced materials, using alkali-free glass fiber as the base material. The reinforcing base material is made using plain weave, twill weave, satin weave, or other weaving methods. The PTFE coating material is formulated by our company based on raw materials and tailored to the different application requirements of various industries, creating modified PTFE materials. Finally, improved coating processing equipment produces practical new materials of various thicknesses and widths with wide applications.

In addition to excellent weather resistance, wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, and corrosion resistance, PTFE-coated fiber-reinforced materials can maintain their original physical form without deformation during processing at temperatures ranging from -170℃ to +300℃.

Product Advantages:

1. Weather Resistance: It can be used long-term within a wide temperature range of -60℃ to 300℃. After 200 days of continuous aging testing at 300℃, neither its strength nor weight decreases. It does not age or crack at ultra-low temperatures of -180℃ and maintains its original flexibility. It can also operate at ultra-high temperatures of 360℃ for 120 hours without aging, cracking, or loss of flexibility.

2. Non-adhesiveness: Almost all sticky substances, such as pastes, adhesive resins, and organic coatings, can be easily removed from the surface.

3. Mechanical Properties: The surface can withstand a compressive load of 200 kg/cm² without significant deformation or missing coils. It has a low coefficient of friction, excellent dimensional stability, and a tensile elongation of ≤5%.

4. Electrical Insulation: It possesses electrical insulation properties, with a dielectric constant of 2.6 and a dielectric loss tangent below 0.0025. 5. Corrosion resistance: Resistant to corrosion from almost all chemicals and substances; does not age or deform under strong acid and alkali conditions.

6. Low coefficient of friction (0.05-0.1), making it a good choice for oil-free self-lubrication.

8. Resistant to microwaves and high frequencies; resistant to ultraviolet and infrared radiation.

Our products are widely used in:

1. Anti-sticking linings, gaskets, coverings, and conveyor belts; depending on thickness, they are used for conveyor belts, adhesive tapes, sealing tapes, etc., in various drying machinery.

2. Welding of plastic products: Welding cloth for welding seals; plastic sheets, films, heat-sealing lining tapes.

3. High insulation in electrical applications: Electrical insulation tape bases, spacers, gaskets, bushings, high-frequency copper-clad laminates.

4. Heat-resistant wrapping: Laminated substrates, heat insulation wrapping.

5. Microwave gaskets, oven sheets, food drying, heat sealing, frozen food transportation, defrosting tapes, drying tapes.

6. Adhesive tapes, transfer printing ironing cloths, carpet backing adhesive curing conveyor belts, rubber vulcanizing conveyor belts, abrasive sheet curing release cloths, etc.

7. Molds: Mold release, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape base cloths.

8. Architectural membrane materials: Roofs for various sports venues, station pavilions, parasols, landscape awnings, etc. 8. Corrosion-resistant coating for various petrochemical pipelines, and environmental desulfurization of power plant exhaust gases.

9. Flexible compensators, friction materials, and grinding wheel slices.

10. Specially processed “anti-static cloth” can be made.
